Client: Wella/Proctor & Gamble

Event: North American Trend & Vision Awards

Concept, casting, and costume design: Suzanne Down

Choreographer: Suzanne Pirnat

Project & stage manager: Bryan Foley

Location: Aria Hotel – Las Vegas, NV

Client Request: Create a strong impactful stage show to open the 2015 NATVA Awards show utilizing a round center stage and 30’ catwalks shooting out from 3 points of the stage.  Work in the elements of the Wella brand; strength, grace, beauty, elegance with special attention to the red logo and color of Wella’s branding.

Solution: Down brought in 2 aerial silks artist and 3 rythmic gymnast ribbon performers to work in the red swoosh of the Wella brand.  Strong male dancers and acrobats executed dynamic tumbling passes to activate the cat walks and fill the unusual stage design.   The red and black elegant and current costumes help bring this performance to the finish line encompassing everything Wella stands for.

Stage performance included: Cyr Wheel, aerial acrobats, ground tumblers, rhythmic gymnasts, dancers and all custom choreography & costuming
